Accessibility statement
How this site supports assistive technology, where we know it falls short, and how to tell us about a barrier.

Before launch
The commitments below reflect how this template is built. Replace the placeholder limitations and response timeframes with real ones after testing the finished site with assistive technology.
Our commitment
Acme Corporation is committed to making this website usable by the widest possible audience, regardless of technology or ability. The site is designed and built to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at level AA.
Accessibility is treated as a build requirement rather than an enhancement: new pages and components are reviewed against the measures below before they are published.
What this site does
- Semantic structure. Every page uses landmark regions, exactly one top-level heading with no skipped levels, and a skip-to-content link as the first focusable element.
- Keyboard support. All interactive elements can be reached and operated with a keyboard alone, in a logical order, with no keyboard traps.
- Visible focus. A consistent, high-contrast focus indicator appears on every focusable element and is never suppressed.
- Reduced motion. Animations, transitions, and smooth scrolling are disabled when the operating system's reduced-motion preference is set.
- Text alternatives. Informative images carry alternative text, and purely decorative graphics — including the signal-strip motif used across the site — are hidden from assistive technology.
- Color and contrast. Text meets WCAG AA contrast ratios against its background, and no information is conveyed by color alone.
- Forms. Every field has a visible label, errors are described in text and associated with their field, and asynchronous results are announced to screen readers through live regions.
- Target size. Interactive controls meet a minimum target size of 24 by 24 CSS pixels.
Known limitations
Placeholder — list any known accessibility gaps here after an audit, together with a workaround and a planned fix for each. Examples of the kinds of items that belong in this list:
- Placeholder limitation: embedded third-party content, such as a webcast player, may not meet the same standard as the rest of the site.
- Placeholder limitation: PDF documents in the investor section may not yet be fully tagged for screen readers.
Report a barrier
If any part of this site is difficult to use with assistive technology, we want to know about it. Contact us by email at info@example.com or by phone at +1 (555) 010-0000, and describe the page and the problem you encountered.
We aim to acknowledge accessibility feedback within [2] business days and to resolve confirmed barriers within [10] business days — placeholder timeframes to replace with real commitments before launch.
